Sep 05, 2018 After updating to the latest client for Mac, only admin users can connect to remote desktop running on Server 2012 R2. Connections for ordinary users work fine with version 8 of the client but support for this ceases shortly. Nov 18, 2018 Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac Support for RDP 7.1 I have several users who are running Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac (version 2.1.1) who can no longer access Remote Desktop Services because the client doesnt support RDP 7.1. A+ client application. The Adobe Connect application for desktop creates a shortcut on the desktop every time it is launched. On Mac, I just installed the application but a meeting opens only in the browser. Mac users who have installed the application, are able to access a meeting only in the browser and the freshly installed application does not launch.

It's quite nice, but leaks memory like a sieve
It feels like a native macOS application, and it works well if you just want to connect for short periods, but if you use it for a long time, e.g. you leave a connection active overnight or for a few days, then the memory consumption becomes a huge problem. It quickly becomes the top-memory consuming app (and second is Outlook for Mac). This slows down the entire Mac! Also, it's not very great if you want to connect to one-off IPs, you sorta have to create a new connection and save it to your list before you can connect. Classic email client for mac. It would be nice if you could have saved connections as well as have the ability to connect to a single IP once in a while.
Get the beta version
Coming from a windows background and using Remote Desktop Connection Manager. using this app was a pain. No groups, no tile view, no centralised credential management. Best mac email client for yahoo. I recently started using Microsoft’s beta version of the same app and it is way, way better. Beta version supports multple groups of connections, centralised creds, tile view with preview, supports command copy / paste / etc. It’s not on the app store, but just search for it and make sure you use a microsoft link.
Remote Desktop From Pc To MacMichael
Its mostly pretty good, Cut/Copy/Paste sometime does not work well, but would love to be able to organise all my sessions within folders instead just stuck under “My Desktops”, an option for starting the session in maximized window (without scroll bars) would be the icing on the cake.
